Every Day We Fight combat decisions

Match the visible problem before spending another action. Armor and shields need different checks; cover angles, reticle bloom and status effects can explain an attack or movement problem without an equipment change.

Where should you start?

Every Day We Fight: target the remaining armor piecesEvery Day We Fight: Check all six armor locations and use the damage preview to choose armor hits, rather than repeatedly shooting a body part that is already exposed.Every Day We Fight: break a Rifter shield completelyEvery Day We Fight: Use a close shotgun attack against a shielded Rifter, and distinguish its regenerating defense from armor or an antenna console's protection.Every Day We Fight: choose Overwatch with its Reflex cost in mindEvery Day We Fight: Overwatch spends AP and a Reflex when placed. Check that tradeoff before committing your reaction, and aim the triggered shot yourself.Every Day We Fight: revive a downed Thorn with bandagesEvery Day We Fight: A surviving Thorn can use bandages to revive a downed ally. Check the selected item, target and AP, then inspect their health after the action.Every Day We Fight: check the angle when cover failsCheck Every Day We Fight cover by the real bullet path, firing angle and exposed body part rather than assuming a cover position guarantees protection.Every Day We Fight: improve a shot whose reticle keeps spreadingUnderstand why Every Day We Fight shots can miss inside the reticle, how recoil and bloom affect a burst, and what to check before blaming no damage.Every Day We Fight: check status effects when an action is blockedIdentify Every Day We Fight status effects that block shooting or movement, raise AP costs, or persist until healing before treating every unavailable action as a bug.
