Every Day We Fight: revive a downed Thorn with bandages
Use bandages from another active Thorn to revive the downed ally. The 1.0 gameplay commentary explicitly recommends carrying bandages for reviving people; bandages also appear as Leo's available action while Dylan is down.
A downed Thorn during an ongoing battle can be helped by another active squad member. You do not need to wait specifically for a med kit.

Use the active Thorn's healing item
- Select a Thorn who is still active and has bandages.
- Choose the bandages action and target the downed ally.
- Check the AP cost and whether the game accepts that target.
- Let the action resolve, then check that the ally is back on their feet and inspect their remaining health.
Revival does not mean a full heal
The public gear reference describes bandages as partial healing and med kits as full healing. It also mentions med-kit revival, but that does not make med kits the only option: the current 1.0 gameplay specifically identifies bandages as revival supplies.
If you are considering finishing the zone first
The public combat reference says downed allies get up with minimal health after successful Combat Zone completion. Its capture build is not declared. This is a separate outcome from using an item during the fight, and it is not a promise that a full-squad defeat revives everyone in place.
If it does not work
- No bandages on the selected active Thorn: check another surviving squad member's inventory.
- An unavailable action needs its displayed AP and target requirements checked; this guide does not set one universal AP cost.
- If the entire squad is down, there is no active Thorn available to perform this revival action.
How to tell it worked
After the item action resolves, the downed ally returns to their feet. Check their health before giving them another exposed position.
