Every Day We Fight weapons and mods
Every Day We Fight: find a Rifter weapon through the right source
Check weapon drops from defeated Rifters and loot from a Rifter Stash that survives the encounter. The reference excludes Rifter weapons from the sewer-hideout and Thorn Stash randomized items; discovering more ordinary loot is not the same acquisition route.
Rifter guns use a different acquisition path from the discovered Thorn loot pool in the published weapon reference. Identify the gun's source before spending time searching the wrong chest type.

Identify the gun before looking for it
| Rifter weapon example | Role in the reference | Where to check |
|---|---|---|
| Thumper / Mangler | Pistol / mid-range rifle | Defeated enemy drops or an intact Rifter Stash. |
| Thrasher / Deadbolt | Close-range weapon / long-range rifle | The same Rifter sources; a drop is not guaranteed. |
| Razorbolt / Spitfire | Revolver-style sidearm / close-to-mid-range gun | The current loot card and its usable weapon role. |
Use the encounter without destroying its loot source
- Check whether the wanted weapon is a Rifter item rather than a Thorn gun or mod.
- After defeating enemies, inspect actual drops; carrying a gun does not guarantee that every enemy drops it.
- If the encounter contains a Rifter Stash, protect it through the fight so its loot remains available.
- Read the resulting weapon's current card before replacing equipment.
- Check primary and secondary roles before picking it up; obtaining a Rifter gun does not remove loadout-slot limits.
Avoid guaranteed-drop and unlock claims
The published entries state the source types, not a drop percentage or a guaranteed spawn in one named district. This guide therefore gives the acquisition route rather than an invented farming loop.
A better weapon for a particular job still needs suitable ammunition, action costs and the correct slot. Keep a useful current gun until the replacement's role is clear.
If it does not work
- Repeated Thorn Stash attempts produce no Rifter gun: switch to the acquisition sources above.
- The Rifter Stash was destroyed: use the protection guide in a later eligible encounter; a key does not restore it.
- No gun dropped from a defeated Rifter: the reference does not promise a drop on every kill.
- The gun replaces another primary: check the equipment-slot rules.
How to tell it worked
A Rifter weapon is found in an eligible drop or surviving Rifter Stash, and its actual item card can be compared with the current loadout.
